This is me, flouncing

Remember back in May I said I was having massive misgivings about being on this platform?

Well, they haven’t abated. If anything, they’ve grown. This is simply not a space I want to be on or contribute to.

I’m not going to stop with my monthly updates. I’m a sucker for them- both the writing and the reading. I love the BTS vibes of other writing lives, and the sense of accountability they give me, the idea of reporting back, checking in. I also love the way they make it easy to look back at the end of the year and reflect.

It makes much more sense for them to live on my corner of the internet, on my website. I’ll write each month on my blog, but you can get them direct to your inbox here, and I’ll also share them via my socials. Now’s a good time to follow me, if you’re not already, particularly because my latest post saw me waving a cowboy hat while steering (or trying to) a John Deere. Here’s July’s update.
